TOPIC: "HOW IS CINEMA RELEVANT TO SOCIETY?"

Cinema is a reflection of society which reflect our Past, Present and Future. It plays the role of mirror in the society. Cinema not only entertain people but also gives a moral message. Nowadays cinemas are made on true stories that educates, motivates and inspires everyone. Some films like Jodha Akbar, Fashion, Nayak, Peepli Live, Swadesh, 3 idiots, Taare Zameen Par, Sultan, Bajirao Mastani, Mary Kom, Dangal etc. helps the people in broadening outlook. It helps in providing rights for the women folk. Besides that, it helps the youth to raise their voice against corruption. It acts as a medium of social awareness. Moreover, it also impact in people’s attitude and habits. Also, it helps in opening the eyes to find out the happening problems. According to me, today cinema can build up a society imagination because it takes people to another place where they have never been before.

TOPIC:"WHAT WE CAN HOPE FOR THE NEW YEAR?”

“Be always at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let each New Year find you a better man- Benjamin Franklin”.

For a sustainable tomorrow, each one of us is responsible. For the New Year, we can hope for Clean, Healthy & Green India. So let us all start by planting a tree on the 1st day of New Year. Loss of Forest Cover is a burning issue in Assam for which elephants are causing chaos in the villages among the people. Therefore we can hope that our Forest Minister will take some measures to save forest and elephants. We can also hope for economic improvement for the New Year. The whole government machinery should work with more enthusiasm to check that no elements try to derail the purpose of ploughing back the black money through any means. We can hope that Banks will also concentrate on achieving the purpose of demonetization. Another burning issues that needs to be end are human trafficking and violence against woman. For the New Year, we can hope for safety of woman. In regard to this, Politicians and media should place more focus to end Dowry deaths, domestic violence, rape etc. Murders of innocent women accused of witchcraft still occur in India and this should be end. Lastly, we can hope at promoting the concept of Digital India and thereby moving towards cashless society, free of corruption.

TOPIC:“HOW TO BE A PATRIOTIC INDIAN?”

There is a well version said , “Responsible citizen is the hallmark of a patriotic citizen”.

Hence the 1st and foremost role to be a patriotic Indian is to be a responsible Indian citizen. The person should not only be responsible for his own welfare & development but he should also take the responsibility to do welfare for the others. He should give his individual interest in the development of the country. One should perform social works and one such thing where an Indian can participate whole heartedly to show patriotism is Swachh Bharat Abhijan whereby cleaning our environment and does not allow to damage it in anyway. India is full of diversities, religions, traditions and cultures and we Indian can really feel proud of this. By being a true Indian , we can show our patriotism towards our own motherland.  No doubt, India is full of talented people and everyone needs a good career so many opt for doing jobs in foreign countries but I strongly feel that those people should apply their talents here in the development of our India. If any wrong doings are going on, one should made protest against that and so to be a patriotic indian, one should be fully aware of his rights & duties. When visiting out of India , one should never speak bad about India and also one should not allow anybody else to give any bad opinion about India. Parents can play an important role here by teaching their children on how to love and respect India. They should teach their children about the all great deeds done by our patriotic Indian freedom fighters.
